Background
This application is designed to operate on a device developed by a startup company, specifically for tracking the hydration level and pulse of athletes. The application receives data from the device and also tracks the user's heartbeat. As part of the initial scope, the main screen of the application will also display an image of the device itself.
My role
As the primary responsibility, I undertook the creation of an initial concept for the application, meticulously considering all requirements and diligently fulfilling the needs identified through extensive client research. In addition, I adeptly handled all the tasks typically assigned to a UX/UI designer for the projects, ensuring a seamless and user-centric design experience.
Challenge
In this project, a significant challenge on the UI side was the limited creative possibilities due to the mandatory usage of the device picture on the main screen, while the provided pictures were not ideal for the application interface. On the UX side, the lack of prior experience in designing healthcare apps made shaping the overall workflow a challenging task. Nonetheless, I approached these challenges with determination and leveraged my expertise to find effective solutions.
